Amazing experience! A month ago I came to Thayer looking to trade in my Jeep for an upgrade. I was very specific on things I wanted in the Jeep, and price range. Ben Bailey told me he would keep an eye out for me and he over exceeded my expectations. He found me my perfect 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. But not only did he stop there! He knew I was extremely OCD and wanted my (new to me) car spotless. And WOW. My new car looks like it just came out of the factory brand new and perfect! The whole experience from the start to ending was seamless. And Ben stayed in communication with me, worked with my schedule and did amazing! I reviewed Thayer Toyota in Bowling Green three years ago as having great customer service. I decided that after three more years of excellence, I needed to revisit and update my review. I want to mention the apparent competence of the unseen and thus unidentified mechanics who've done excellent work over the years on my automobile (that is now a senior citizen like me), but I especially want to praise the front-line guys with whom I speak to make my appointment and who discuss with me and coordinate my car's inspection and work to be performed. Tom and Brian are among the nicest people I do business with, and I actually enjoy our interactions. I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else for service, and it's due to the phenomenal customer service delivered by a great staff. Had another phenomenal service performed January 15, 2025! After a battery failure, Brian worked me into a full schedule, fully honored my battery's warranty, and did so in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Best dealership and staff in my many decades of Toyota ownership! Have to add another great review for the exceptional care and service provided by Cindy when I was again stranded with a dead car and needed towing service to the dealership April 8, 2026. She even volunteered to drive me home! Car got fixed in record time and with the service and attention that I always seem to get at this dealership.

I visited the dealership to trade in my 2017 Honda Civic and was interested in leasing or financing a brand-new Jeep Compass or Wrangler, depending on what fit my financial situation and approval. Sales consultant Kyle Lenhart did an excellent job explaining all the details and arranging test drives for each vehicle. He was very pleasant, patient, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. In the end, I was able to move forward with a brand-new 2025 Jeep Wrangler, and I’m very happy with my decision.

On the morning of April 2, 2026, our 2025 Toyota RAV4 hybrid the “Check Engine” light went on when we started our car. We had driven from Chicago to Bowling Green the previous day and were returning to Chicago. We called Thayer Toyota to ask what we should do, and we were advised to bring the car in to be checked. Despite being shorthanded that morning, the Service Department was able to resolve the problem and test drive the car to make sure that the light did not come back on. As a result, we were able to leave for Chicago right around the time we had planned to. The staff at Thayer Toyota were friendly and helpful, and their service was excellent. It’s obviously distressing to have car issues while traveling, but in our case we were fortunate. We highly recommend Thayer Toyota. The service we received was exceptional.

We had many questions regarding vehicle, costs, and options - he shared his knowledge and was honest with what he did not know (but always found the answers).
